PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the molding cycle of an injection molding machine. SOLUTION: An injection control unit has a cylinder member, an injection member, an injection cylinder 13 for allowing the injection member to retreat when oil is supplied to an oil chamber on a suck-back side, an adjustment means for adjusting the amount of the oil supplied to the oil chamber on the suck-back side on the basis of a control command and a suck-back control processing means for increasing the value of the control command when the suck-back process is started and reducing the same when a predetermined time is elapsed. Since the oil in the oil chamber on the suck-back side can be adjusted to high pressure in a slight time, the retreat of the injection member is started immediately after the suck-back process is started.
