PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key engagement structure of an axis hole member and a machining method for a key engagement part which can realize efficient machining of the key engagement part into the axis hole member having a non-through axis hole. SOLUTION: A work hole 20 is provided at an axis hole member 10 passing from an outer circumference part 10C through an axis hole 14 with both ends in the axial direction 10A and 10B left, and a key way 21 to be engaged with a key 16 is formed at a symmetrical position in the radial direction of this work hole 20.
