PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector having the excellent shielding property of electromagnetic noise and having excellent heat radiation. SOLUTION: A shield case 20 is housed and arranged in a connector housing 4 made of resin. The shield case 20 is constituted so that a guiding sleeve part 23 and a heat radiation part 25 are formed integrally in a case main body 21 capable of housing an optical, element D and the whole of it consists of metallic material such as aluminum, aluminum alloy.
