PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dummy head 10 for processing a bore of a cylinder block capable of being fastened similarly to an actual cylinder head even if a bolt 20 is worn. SOLUTION: This dummy head 10 has a first member 11 with a through-holes 13 each formed with a recessed part 15 in a contacting face with a second member 12; and the second member 12 lapped over the first member 11, having through-holes 14 in the same positions as the through-holes 13 of the first member 11. When installing the dummy head 10 to the cylinder block 21, an air pressure is measured with supplying air into an air gap 16, and the bolt 20 is fastened until the air pressure becomes a prescribed value. |
