PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink head whereby ink drops discharged from a plurality of nozzles set to each ink chamber contact each other and surely unite with each other during flying to be recorded to a recording medium although each nozzle can be machined easily. SOLUTION: The ink head 10 has a plurality of the ink chambers 21 and a nozzle plate 30 which provides a front face of each ink chamber 21 with nozzles 31 and 31'. An ink hold region 40 as a region having a high affinity to ink is formed to a front face of the nozzle plate 30. The ink hold region 40 extends from an opening edge of the nozzle towards a position of the center of gravity of the nozzle at each nozzle. The ink head 10 makes the ink discharged from each nozzle contact the ink on the ink hold region 40, unites ink drops during flying and records to the recording medium.
