PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber module capable of reducing a load on an optical fiber itself by distributing external force, and a semiconductor laser module to which the optical fiber module is fitted. SOLUTION: In this optical fiber module M, (the end of) the optical fiber F is provided with a coated part 1 coated by a coating material and a metalized part 2 which is on the side of an end compared with the part 1 and is metalized. This optical fiber F is inserted to a metallic pipe 3, the metalized part 2 is fixed to a metallic pipe 3 by soldering 4, and the part 2 is fixed to the pipe 3 with an adhesive 5.
