SOLUTION: A maximum virtual circle Cmax and a minimum virtual circle Cmin of respective measured values in at least three measurement positions (P1, P2, P3) along the circumferential direction of the recording medium disk D are generated, and a maximum value Hmax in the maximum virtual circle Cmax and a minimum value Hmin in the minimum virtual circle Cmin are adopted as a maximum value Dmax and a minimum value Dmin of the loading height of the disk D, when the disk D rotates.
