PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct coupled automatic water supply apparatus capable of surely detecting lowering of suction pressure due to clogging of a strainer. SOLUTION: This direct coupled automatic water supply apparatus is provided with a pump unit 11 including a suction pipe 12 connected to a water main pipe 40, a discharge pipe 13 connected to the water supply terminal, and at least one turbine pump 14 for intensifying the pressure of city water flowing from the water main pipe into the suction pipe 12 and supplying the same to the discharge pipe. A reverse flow preventing device 35 for interrupting city water flowing backward from the suction pipe to the main water pipe is installed in the upstream of the suction pipe of the pump unit, and strainer 41 is installed further in the upstream of the reverse flow preventing device. A pressure detecting part 53 for detecting the suction pressure of city water flowing into the suction pipe is disposed between the strainer and the reverse flow preventing device.
