PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielding body device capable of simply engaging a laterally long bar connected at the lower end of a shielding body at the other end sections of a pair of arms. SOLUTION: A pair of the arms 19, in which one end sections are connected on the outdoor side of a window opening by hinges and which are rocked inside and outside a room, are installed, engaging bodies 23 are mounted at the other end sections of a pair of the arms 19 in a freely oscillating manner respectively, and the laterally long bars 7 connected to the shielding bodies 5 freely wound on the engaging sections of the engaging bodies 23 are constituted in a manner that the bars can be engaged.
