PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for vehicle. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner for vehicle, a second passage formed between a heater core and the bottom wall of a housing is provided with an upstream end communicating with a first passage, and a downstream end terminated by a partition wall extending between the downstream end face of the heater core and the bottom wall of the housing. The air conditioner further has a fourth passage formed between the partition wall and the rear wall of the housing; a partition wall for partitioning the fourth passage into at least two chambers; and a communicating opening part formed in the partition wall to communicate the second passage with one of the chambers.
