PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a voltage of a piezoelectric element of a nozzle which is not driven in printing is lowered by self discharging due to the insulation resistance. SOLUTION: A voltage of a voltage hold circuit 21 is applied to a piezoelectric element from a switch circuit 9 such that the voltage is not changed every time when printing is not performed, thereby always applying an intermediate voltage thereto.
