PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the shortage of humidification by obtaining enough humidifying water, and also to downsize the device at large. SOLUTION: This air conditioner produces humid air including steam by collecting steam within outdoor air. The air conditioner is provided with a heat exchanger (62) for dew condensation which cools the humid air to the temperature of outside air or under and condenses the steam into dew and produces the humid water. This carries the humid water produced by the heat exchanger (62) for dew condensation to an indoor unit (30). The indoor unit (30) receives the humid water and humidifies the interior of a room. The heat exchanger (62) for dew condensation is arranged so that the longitudinal direction of a cooling fin (64) may be roughly vertical. Hydrophilic treatment or water repellent treatment is applied to the surface of the cooling fin (64) of the heat exchanger (62) for dew condensation. |
