PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new testosterone 5α-reductase inhibitor, to provide an androgen receptor-binding inhibitor, to provide an antiandrogenic agent, and to provide a hair growth cosmetic. SOLUTION: This testosterone 5α-reductase inhibitor contains an extract from branches and leaves of Ampelopsis grossendentata. The androgen receptor- binding inhibitor, the antiandrogenic agent, and the hair growth cosmetic contain the extract, respectively.
