<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary kiln remarkably improved in thermal efficiency. SOLUTION: Exhaust gas through an outlet 5 of a rotary furnace 2 and air for preheat are heat-exchanged by an air preheater 12 disposed in a secondary combustion chamber 8 and through recovery of outgoing radiation of the secondary combustion chamber 8, a radiation loss is reduced. Air preheated to a high temperature through heat exchange is fed as combustion air of a fuel combustion device 7 and combustion is efficiently effected.</p> |
