PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that titanium oxide, dispersed in an ink in order to obtain clear written lines in writing, precipitates because of its high specific gravity and degrades the ink with time. SOLUTION: This water-base ink for ballpoints at least contains titanium oxide, a viscosity modifier, a polymer precipitation preventive, a water-soluble organic solvent, and water provided that the polymer precipitation preventive is sodium carboxymethylcellulose with a low degree of polymerization. |
