PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cooling system driven by a pulley, cooling capacity of which is improved at a low engine speed, by increasing a rotational speed of a fan with respect to an input speed of an engine. SOLUTION: A water-cooled type remote control fan driving assembly 59 has an additional pulley set mounted between a driving mechanism using water 81 and a cooling fan 68 to form a second over drive mechanism. In the assembly, a pair of auxiliary pulleys 62, 87 is attached to a transmitting/driving mechanism 66, and the radius of one of the pulleys is made smaller than the radius of a pulley 80 of a crankshaft, and therefore the transmitting/driving mechanism 66 rotates at a speed higher than the pulley 80 of the crankshaft. One or both of a pair of auxiliary pulleys 102 is/are attached on a shroud 106 to improve setting of direction of the fan and to increase the efficiency of operation of the fan.
