GRINDING WHEEL DRESSING METHOD AND GRINDING MACHINE USED IN THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding wheel dressing method capable of performing dressing work of a grinding wheel at proper timing and improving grinding precision of a workpiece. SOLUTION: The vibration generated during grinding of the workpiece W by rotating grinding wheel 16 is detected by a vibration detector 34, and grinding work is stopped when an amplitude of the vibration reaches a set value (0.10 to 0.25μm). After that, dressing work of the grinding wheel 16 is performed.
