摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the base isolation effect on vertical vibrations using a liquid tub together with an air room by setting the difference of the liquid faces of the liquid tub and the air room large or by varying the capacity of the air room according to the internal pressure. SOLUTION: A float 12 on which a structure or various devices and equipment are set is floated in the liquid tub 1 communicating with the sealed air room 14. The vertical vibrations of the float 12 are reduced by the spring effect brought by the compressibility of air so that the vibrations are base-isolated. The air room 14 is separated from the liquid tub 11 and the bottom of the air room is set lower than the bottom of the liquid tub. The lower part of the air room 14 is connected to the bottom of the liquid tub with a communication channel 15, and the difference of the liquid faces of the liquid tub 11 and the air room 14 is set large. The air room 14 is structured so that the capacity can be flexibly varied according to the increase/decrease of the internal pressure.
