PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker wherein a cooker in which food materials are accommodated at heating is rotated and quickly interrupted, and the force of inertia produced thereupon is utilized to stir the food materials. SOLUTION: A cooking container 21 is installed at a position displaced from a rotation axis X1 of a rotary mechanism 19 in the rotary mechanism 19 provided on a bottom in a cooking chamber 12 for heating and cooking, and the rotation and rapid interruption of the rotary mechanism 19 are repeated at cooking to stir food materials 29 in the cooking container 21 with the force of inertia.
