PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable plate type heat exchanger core in which the number of components and the number of brazing or welding parts are decreased. SOLUTION: A sheet of a band metal plate is folded alternately at first folding edges (1) and second folding edge (2) to form a large number of planar parts (3). Circumferential edges (4) of a pair of adjacent planar parts (3) linked integrally through the first folding edges (1) are then jointed to form a plurality of element parts (5). Adjacent element parts (5) are linked integrally, at a constant interval, through the second folding edges (2) and a pair of first fluid inlet and outlet (6) and (7) are formed at positions spaced apart from each other on the circumferential edge of the element part (5) such that second fluid flows to the outer surface side of each element part (5).
