PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof construction method having superior work efficiency, and capable of reducing the total weight of a construction site and attaining superior waterproof performance. SOLUTION: A waterproof coating agent made by mixing glass fiber with synthetic resin solution is applied onto a fireproof board material 4 formed by vermiculite or perlite, or both of them, cement and carbon fiber, the fireproof board 4 is fitted to a work body 1, joints are puttied, a waterproof coating agent 5 made by mixing glass fiber with a synthetic resin solution is applied to the surface of the fire board material 4, cured and a top coat is further applied thereto.
