PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool for eaves gutter and a cutting method for eaves gutter preventing eaves gutter from being cut obliquely during cutting the eaves gutter. SOLUTION: This cutting tool 3 has a roughly same section shape as an eaves gutter joint fitting on an outside of the eaves gutter 1 and is provided with slits 34 or grooves 35 in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the eaves gutter 1. The cutting tool 3 is fitted on the outside of the eaves gutter 1 to interpose the same and the eaves gutter 1 is cut along the slits 34 or the grooves 35.
