PURPOSE: A method and system for a personalized portal service is provided to edit a personalized portal page directly and display an element, which was moved to the personalized portal page, as a form at an original web site. CONSTITUTION: A server(100) stores authentication information of members and information of a personalized portal page according to clients in a database(102). If a member requests the information of the portal page, the information is read from the database and transmitted to a terminal(104) of the member through a network. If the member requests editing of one's portal page, the server(100) downloads a parser and editor program in the terminal(104). The database(102) stores member information, authentication information, editing control information, portal page information, element URL, directory information, and notice board information. The member downloads the parser and editor program, edits the portal page, and stores edited portal page information in the database(102) through the terminal(104) or the server(100). If the member connects to the server(100) and performs the member authentication, the server(100) reloads the portal page of the corresponding member.
