METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING ELECTROSTATIC CURRENT OF VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for preventing electrostatic current of a vehicle are provided to completely remove electrostatic current from the vehicle by preventing electrostatic current from being accumulated in the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic current preventing apparatus includes a brake lamp switch(10) installed at one side of a brake master cylinder(2) so as to notify a stop of a vehicle. A terminal is provided in the brake lamp switch(10), which applies power to the brake lamp switch(10) when a mobile contact makes contact with a fixing contact caused by hydraulic pressure of the brake master cylinder(2). A relay switch(20) is provided to switch power applied through the brake lamp switch(10). A door(3) is provided to discharge electrostatic current by opening/closing the contacts. A discharging device(30) is positioned at one side of a door catch(4).
