PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant solubilizing agent which can solubilize an antioxidant in various base oils at a high concentration and gives from a long shelf life, to provide an antioxidant composition and a mixed oil. SOLUTION: The antioxidant composition comprises 50-94 wt.% of an antioxidant solubilizing agent containing a polyether compound and 6-50 wt.% of a phenolic antioxidant or a sulfur-containing antioxidant, wherein the polyether compound is represented by formula (1): R<1> -O (AOm -(EO)n }p -R<2> (1) [wherein R<1> is hydrogen or a 1-8C alkyl group, R<2> is hydrogen or a 1-8C alkyl group, and R<1> and R<2> may be same or different, but are not simultaneously hydrogens; AO is a 3C or 4C alkylene-oxy group, and EO is an ethylene-oxy group; m and n are each an integer of 0-10, m+n is an integer of 1-10, and p is an integer of 1-3; and the polymer as shown inside the } is random or block]. The mixed oil is obtained by mixing the antioxidant composition into a base oil. |
