PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start an intersection point guide by timing matched with the requirement of a user. SOLUTION: When the user instructs in an operation part 4 a reference distance L0 of a criterion starting an intersection guide after how near a vehicle gets to a next objective intersection for guide, it is registered to a reference distance storage part 8. While the comparison part 10 of a control unit 5 judges that a distance L of a current position to the next objective intersection for guide is larger than L0 , only a map image including a current position mark by using map data is shown on a display part 3 by a drawing part 12 and a composition part 13, and the voice guide of the next objective intersection for guide is not yet performed. Thereafter, when the comparison part 10 judges that the distance L of the current position to the next objective intersection reaches L0 , the intersection enlarged image of the next objective intersection for guide is further overlapped and displayed on the map image including the current position by the cooperation of the drawing part 12 and the composition part 13, and a voice guide 14 starts the voice guide of the distance up to the next objective intersection for guide. |
