SOLUTION: This deterioration diagnostic device for the fluid pump is provided with multiple strain gauges 21 to be stuck to a bearing casing 10, Wheatstone bridge box 22, an amplifier 23, an arithmetic unit 24 having a strain quantity conversion function converting an output from the amplifier into the strain quantity, a residual thrust arithmetic function operating the residual thrust force to a measured strain quantity, a bearing serviceable life arithmetic function operating the bearing serviceable life, and a clearance quantity arithmetic function operating the clearance quantity between a balance piston and a balance bush, and a display 25 displaying the operation results of the arithmetic unit.
