PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a tool for preventing the overturn and fall accidents of a three-leg trestle easily and surely in a short time without requiring skill in works on the self-standing thee-leg trestle. SOLUTION: The trestle is composed of the three-leg trestle and a supporting post having an engaging section engaged with the three-leg trestle at a front end section. The trestle has the engaging section engaged with the three-leg trestle at the front end section, and a base section is projected and supported to a section outer than lines tied by the three legs of the three-leg trestle. Two supporting post bodies having the engaging sections engaged with the three-leg trestle at the front ends are connected mutually by a connecting member. The supporting post having the engaging section at the front end section of the supporting post body is inserted into the inside from one side face of the three- leg trestle, the engaging section is engaged with the three-leg trestle, and the base section is projected and supported to the section outer than lines ties by three legs of the three-leg trestle.
