PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stairs go-up and go-down device of simple, compact and lightweight construction capable of going up and down stairs smoothly and serviceable to movement on stairs of any sort of object. SOLUTION: A chassis 1 is furnished with a load table 3 whereon any object is placed and two flat floor running wheels 8 on columns installed upright in a single piece with the load table 3, and the body 2 of an elevation device is attached to a connection part 4 of the axle 6 of the wheels 8 with the columns. The body 2 of the elevation device slides to under the load table 3, and the center of gravity of the load object lies in the central part of the body 2, which assures smooth movement of the object.
