PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement of a member for securing a flexible cable, transmitting a signal from an electric board to a recording head to the apparatus body in which assembling performance is enhanced and positional shift of the flexible cable due to an external force is prevented without causing any cost increase. SOLUTION: When a flexible cable 14 is secured to the apparatus body 1 using a securing member 15, the cable is bent by 90 deg. and positioned in the widthwise direction and the thickness direction by means of positioning parts provided on the opposite sides of the cable in the widthwise direction. Surface of the flexible cable is then bent by a rib or a protruding curved face provided between the positioning parts on the opposite sides and pushing the cable face on the side opposite to the positioning part.
