PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool that can markedly extend the sharpness of a tip, and an elastic sheet used for the cutting tool. SOLUTION: This cutting tool G has a replaceable tip 2 detachably disposed at the tip. The tip 2 is fixed to a cutting tool body 1 through the elastic sheet S. The elastic sheet S is interposed between the tip 2 and the cutting tool body 1 of the cutting tool G with the replaceable tip 2 detachably disposed at the tip, and the thickness of the elastic sheet S is about 0.05-0.5 mm in the fixed state of the tip 2 to the cutting tool body 1.
