PURPOSE: An HPNA(Home Phoneline Networking Alliance)-based call service system is provided to perform a direct call by embodying an HPNA-based intranet and matching a pseudo IP assigned in the intranet with a telephone number received from an external Internet. CONSTITUTION: HPNA-based IP phones(460-1 to 460-N) perform a call and a data communication through an intranet or the Internet. An MDF(Main Distributing Frame)(410) unifiedly manages the call and the data communication in the HPNA-based IP phones(460-1 to 460-N). An HPNA-based IP phone(461) is installed in an information desk. An HPNA-based hub(420) connects a proxy/DHCP server(451), a UMS server(452), and a main directory service server(453) for composing an internal intranet. A router(440) connects to the HPNA-based hub(420) to connect to an external data network. An HPNA-based voice gateway(430) connects to the HPNA-based hub(420) and an external telephone network for providing a call service to the HPNA-based IP phones(460-1 to 460-N) using voices and data.
