LIFT DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE MAINTENANCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a maintenance cost by reducing the number of part items, and shallowing a pit. SOLUTION: A movable lift 9 is arranged inside the pit 1 so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle 2 for maintenance. An opening part 3 of the pit 1 is covered with a pit cover 6. The pit cover 6 is constituted of a plurality of cover elements 20 in the longitudinal direction. The adjacent cover elements 20 are collapsibly connected by a link 21, and a partial cover element 20 is jointed to the movable lift 9. A guide rail 24 and a slide rail 25 are arranged in the opening part 3 of the pit 1 for guiding left and right both end parts of the cover elements 20. Housing parts 27 are formed in front and rear both end parts for housing the cover elements 20 in a folding-up state, and a hanger 28 is arranged in the housing part 27 for erecting the cover elements 20.
