PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-molding device capable of forming a large protrusion on a paper lid. SOLUTION: A cavity ring 67 is made to descend as indicated by an arrow in Fig. (a) and thus the edge of a paper blank 65 can be folded downward. In Fig. (b), a pin 40 is pushed out by lowering an ascending/descending cam ring 52 as shown by the arrow and a protrusion 16 is formed. Consequently, the protrusion 16 of a desired shape can be formed on the paper lid by collectively moving the pin 40 forward and backward when a movable half of a mold is at a lower dead-spot position. Since the depth of the protrusion 16 can be decided by a stroke of the pin 40, the protrusion 16 can be freely formed without being concerned about the paper quality of the paper blank 65.
