PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion member and a soundproof construction for a side ditch which can be constructed at a relatively low cost with less projection of lid slab without slip off. SOLUTION: Side walls 11 and 12 at both the sides respectively have lid holding portions 13 and 14, there is a cushion member 17 for side ditch mounted between a side ditch main body 15 provided with hooking holes 18 and the lid slab 16 of the side ditch main body 15 at the predetermined places of the lid holding portions 13 and 14, and also a thin plate-shaped elastic slab portion 19 placed at the lid holding portions 13 and 14 and a projected portion 20 fitted to the hooking hole 18 installed by protruding at the rear surface side of the elastic slab portion 19 are equipped.
