PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size punch capable of accurately positioning paper and storing compactly after use. SOLUTION: A ruler 6 is rotatably provided on one side of a base stand 8. Paper is positioned to a pair of punches by opening the ruler 6. A lock mechanism is engaged by closing and sliding the ruler 6 after use to keep a pair of levers 3, 4 in a inclined state and the ruler 6 in a closed state. In such construction, the ruler 6 can be provided with a paper positioning mechanism and a lock mechanism to keep a pair of the levers 3, 4 and the ruler 6 in stored states and those mechanisms can be materialized with a simply and vary compact structure.
