PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal slitting saw and its manufacturing method that can form cutting edge parts accurately in a short time without causing the distortion of a cutter material. SOLUTION: The outer peripheral edge part of the metal slitting saw with a side cutting edge used as a circular saw or the like, is provided with a large number of cutting edge parts 12 formed at prescribed spaces. First undercut parts 14 between the respective cutting edge parts 12 are formed by electrochemical machining, and a second undercut part 16 thinner than the cutting edge parts 12 is concentrically formed also on the center side of the cutting edge parts 12 and first undercut parts 14.
