<p>Fibres (2; 14) having a plurality of coloured regions printed on front and rear sides of said fibre are disclosed, wherein the colours are visible only under ultra-violet light. The regions may be in the form of stripes (4, 6, 8, 10 and 12) or may be arranged is a pseudo-random pattern (16, 18, 20, 22, 24). The regions may be differently coloured. Such fibres can be incorporated into paper products as a form of counterfeit protection.</p> |
