PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container lid wherein the compressing amount of a sealant at the engaged section with a container mouth section can be made larger, and sealing property, continuous sealing property, and in addition, anti- impact sealing property can be further increased by forming a protruding section which protrudes in the engaging direction with the container mouth section, on the sealant which is applied in the groove of a container lid shell body. SOLUTION: This container lid is equipped with the container lid shell body and the sealant which is applied on the sealing section of the container lid shell body by a lining. In such a container lid, the sealant has the protruding shape which protrudes in the engaging direction with the container mouth section, on the cross section in the diametrical direction of the container lid. |
