<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device capable of allowing the front side of an air bag to be inflated relatively earlier than the rear side. SOLUTION: This air bag device for a front passenger seat is provided with an air bag 11, a container 12 accommodating the air bag 11, an inflator 13 mounted on the container 12 and producing a gas for inflating the air bag 11, a lid covering an opening of an upper face of the container 12, and the like. A rear part 11A on the vehicle rear side, of the air bag 11 is folded first, then left and right both side parts 11L, 11R of the air bag are folded, and then a front part (part on the vehicle front side) 11B of the air bag is folded. The front side 11B of the air bag is inflated earlier than the rear side 11A in inflation.</p> |
