PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to perform a desired setting operation and the retrieval of a facility without performing operation in a navigation system. SOLUTION: An operation function control means 18 of a system control means 13 analogizes a predicted function which the user will set next by an operation means 17 from the setting condition of each item selected on a map screen based on map data read from a map data storage means 11 in the screen of a display means 16, for instance, in the case that a destination is not set, the setting switch of the destination is represented as a function switch. In the case that a route is not set by a route setting means 14, the setting switch of the route is represented as another function switch. In addition, a switch for retrieving peripheral facilities which the user is analogized to desire to search from a time and a continuous operation time is represented. |
