METHOD FOR DETERMINING TRAINING SYMBOL AND ESTIMATING FREQUENCY OFFSET AND SYNCHRONIZING FREQUENCY IN OFDM

PURPOSE: A method for determining training symbol and estimating frequency offset and synchronizing frequency in OFDM is provided, in which training symbol assigns data for the cross-correlation value of a subcarrier wave to be in proportion to the frequency offset. CONSTITUTION: A test symbol determination method is characterized in that a unit training symbol is determined in such a way that values of data allocated to adjacent sub-carrier waves in the frequency area have a constant relation each other. The training symbol determination method utilizes for a symbol synchronization and/or frequency synchronization in a receiver by transmitting from the transmitter of the OFDM system to use N number of sub-carrier waves.
