PURPOSE: An apparatus for embossing the outer circumference of a pipe is provided which endures even at high strength by forming several forming grooves on the surface of the pipe more safely and simply. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for embossing the outer circumference of a pipe comprises a plurality of cylinders(14) which are fixed onto the upper side of a main frame(10), a means for fixing the die thereto by forming a die(13) at the center of the cylinders(14), female grooves which are respectively formed at inner upper and lower sides of the die(13), a means for operating the rods of the cylinders by inserting rods of the cylinders(14) into the female grooves, a jig which is received in a space part at the center of the die(13) so that the jig(11) is operated as a spindle saddle is being vertically moved by operation of the cylinders(14) and a hydraulic press, wherein the rods of the cylinders(14) are inserted into the female grooves formed on upper and lower sides of the die(13) to put pressure on the outer circumference of the pipe and form a plurality of reinforcing grooves on upper and lower sides of the pipe by a bend formed on the jig(11), and the pipe is formed by forming direction of the jig(11) in a distance corresponding to 120 degrees of an angle on the basis of the spindle saddle and assembling the plurality of cylinders(14) fixed to the main frame(10) also at the same angle.
