PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for forming logo data whereby an ink consumption amount necessary for printing logo data can be grasped at an edition/formation time of logo data. SOLUTION: There are set an original image acquisition control unit 12 as a basis of forming logo data, an image processor 13 for forming logo data by image processing an acquired original image, an ink consumption amount calculater 19 for generating attribute data whereby the ink consumption amount necessary for printing logo data can be recognized from the number of colored pixels which constitute logo data image processed by the image processor 13, and a display control unit 23 for displaying generated attribute data to a display unit, so that attribute data showing the ink amount necessary for printing logo data being formed is displayed. |
