PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carder capable of realizing uniform distribution state of fiber in fiber fleece even at high-speed treating speed and provide a carding element, a supporting element and saw-tooth wire strips suitable for the carder. SOLUTION: At least one carding element having a first treating surface with a shape of substantially normal cylinder face and having further treating surface facing the first treating surface to a taking-in roller 110 rotatable around the shaft of the cylinder is arranged. The carding element is equipped with a supporting element 120 and these saw-tooth wire strips 130 attached in rows to the supporting element 120. These saw-tooth wire strips 130 are connected through a connecting segment 136 therebetween and has two segments 132 and 134 defining obtuse angle and further treating surface of the carding element is similar to the first treating surface and wider and even area of the fiber is obtained thereby.
