PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an artificial flower of cloth which is made simply attachable and detachable to a ceremonial dress and is wearable instead of a black arm band and handkerchief. SOLUTION: In this artificial flower of cloth, a rectangular cloth material obtained by cutting a cloth into a square or polygonal form is subjected to sewing processing by a lock sewing machine in the length direction and at two side parts in both two short directions, one end in the length direction of the cloth material is manually gathered and bundled with a ribbon or the like, a part of a stem is formed to give a setting part 4 so that the other part is provided with a petal part 6, the flat face of a separately prepared fitting body 1 of any of various forms such as a semicylindrical shape, etc., is provided with a fitting material 3 such as an adhesive, etc., and the setting part 4 being the stem part of the petal part 6 is inserted into a hollow part 2 of the fitting body 1.
