PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an apparatus cost of a photoprinting system as much as possible. SOLUTION: In the photoprinting system, an image exposure device is provided with an exposure head for forming one exposure image by a plurality of the number of times of an exposure process based on different image data for exposure, a memory EM for the exposure head for storing image data to be exposed by the exposure head, while an image input device is provided with an output memory 18d for storing image data for exposure to be sent to the memory EM for the exposure head. The memory EM for the exposure head is constituted to be able to store a part of image data among image data of the one exposure image. A memory controller 64 for the exposure head is constituted to transmit to an output memory controller 18e, a write enable signal showing whether or not fresh data can be written to the memory EM.
