<p>Device for mending breakages in a weft thread, especially for looms with shuttles, is characterised by a projectile (19) insertion device, which is manually manocurable, and produces a propulsion force. Specifically the projectile (19) is pulled by the action of a spring (7) previously tightened with a striker (2). The striker (2) can be blocked after tightening of the spring (7). The spring (7) can be relaxed by means of a trigger (11) operating on a tumbler (8). The projectile (19) can be in uni-or bi-dimensional contact with a barrel (18) in at least two positions. Uses advantages the device enables breakages in weft threads to be rapidly and securely mended. Breakages occuring at inaccessible positions of the loom can be easily repaired.</p> |
