PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the floating operation of a razor head and to simplify a shaving operation at the time of deep shaving in an electric razor for which the razor head is floatably supported. SOLUTION: Between a main body case 1 and the razor head 2, a switching mechanism R switching the floating stroke of the razor head 2 is provided. The switching mechanism R is composed of an operator 62 on a case outer surface, a frame body 61 arranged inside the case and a cam structure 63 converting the horizontal operation of the operator 62 to a vertical operation. The frame body 61 is connected to leg pieces 80 provided on both sides of the lower end of the razor head 2. When the operator 62 is switched, the frame body 61 is moved downwards and the push-in reaction force of the razor head 2 is increased. In the state, the deep shaving is performed.
