The seal (1) is made from closed cell plastic foam. Before use, it is in the form of a disk with a quadrant cut out of it and a series of ribs (22) in the center. One end (13) of the seal carries an adhesive patch (16). The seal is placed around the pipe and compressed until the ends meet and stick together. The seal is then slid down the pipe and squeezed into the open end of the conduit. |
